When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

This golden eagle has been one of my favorite subjects. I just love the beak and eyes, and the little feathers. Hope you enjoy her as much as I do. She may be only about 9 lbs, but she still made me nervous.

I had a chance to get up close and personal with one at a renfair once. A local raptor rescue group was doing a show on falconry and they had brought an injured bird they were rehabilitating to release back into the wild. They are so majestic and beautiful!
